[OOC]
okay everyone, I do want to address one thing. If you make any motion
or action with another player, be sure that player is okay with what
you are doing. For example, don't say that you shake hands with 'Bob'
and laugh about -whatever-. Bob may not want to shake hands with you.
     Use a format like this:
I shake Bob's hand and laugh at the joke  [if he doesn't shake my
hand, I'll stop laughing and punch him for being a jerk].

Case in point was Telgar's kiss of Lyrium's hand. I know it was an
innocent greeting, but I want to watch out for stuff like that. It was
done without giving her any approval of the action. Not everyone
playing here knows each other, and I don't want any misunderstandings.
The greeting was a small affair, I recognize that, but I think I
needed to say that for anything that comes along in that aspect. Make
use of [OOC]'s alongside your [IC] to remind everyone it's the game
you're playing. Ex) [IC]Brenon punches Zhirrzh in the face, telling
the Yazirian he's a pathetic monkey. [OOC] I still like and respect
     you as a person, Clay...

     :)

     So, with that...

At the briefing's end, Brenon and Zhirrzh nod to Ryseak, rise, and
head out of the room. The Crew of the Serena Dawn mention checking
something at the ship, give their farewells to the team, and walk out
     of the conference room.
Lyrium looks about silently and then rises smoothly from her chair.
She inclines her head to Ryseak and turns silently to watch Zhirrzh
and Brenon moving out of the room, heads bowed as they speak quietly
together. Lyrium 'hmmms' softly and then closes and lifts her small
notebook from the table top before settling it under her arm.
Ryseak speaks quietly to his aides, pausing to watch Brenon and
Zhirrzh leave the room quickly. He seems to contemplate a few moments,
glances at the rest of the team, and gets continues his conversations
     with his assistants.
Telgar stands up and looks at Kah'Liss then turns around to find
Lyrium.  Spotting her, he walks up to her, lifts her hand to his lips
and kisses it, then he grins.  "This mission's going to be hell most
likely, but I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.  Would you like to
meet with me and Kah'Liss for some drinks later tonight after we've
all had a chance to get supplies?"
She regards Telgar with a arched brow as he approaches and smiles
faintly at the ancient gesture. Returning the grin, brow still raised,
Lyrium glances to Kah'liss and turns back to Telgar. "Hell?" Her voice
soft, amused, "I hope not. As for drinks.. I believe I will join you
both." She glances to her time piece "How about the lounge at [OOC: 8
pm equivilant, I have no idea how they do time here, sorry]? That
should give you plenty of time to shop." She laughs softly and removes
her hand from Telgar's fingers, and begins to walk to the door. She
turns back before exiting and adds, "Try not to spend it all in once
     place, boys."
Kah'liss watches the actions of Telgar with amusement.  He then
bows to Lyrium in both a gesture of welcome and acceptance of the
time. "The pleasure of your presence is our gratefulness.  We shall be
there at the proper time, if an unexpected situation does not arise."
Her final comment before leaving causes him to open his mandibles in a
gesture of similar to the human raising of a brow.  "In means of
efficiency, I do hope that the personal supplies that we are seeking
to acquire may all be purchased in one location." After a moment, he
looks at Telgar, "Or was that another human idiosynchronacy?"

20:00 hours, Second Evening, Stargaze lounge

The bar is a pretty large establishment for a hotel. Along the East
wall is the main bar counter, with perhaps 10 beings sitting there.
Many tables of varying sizes lay scattered across the room. There are
a few wandering waiters and waitresses, and the number of patrons
tonight number around 30. The door to the North leads to the cold
streets of Pale, the temperature down further due to the darkness
outside. The entrance to the Hotel lobby is on the Southern end of the
     room.

     Referee's Note:
Everyone can find their equipment with no problem on Pale. I will
deduct your credits and add the equipment to your character sheets as
     soon as I can.

You can RolePlay the meeting at the lounge if you'd like. Some of you
could talk about roles or duties, or just get to know each other. You
can give me this in a blanket email, or carry on converstions like the
     briefing was.

Perhaps Azad (Kevin) will feel more comfortable in a Bar situation and
     speak up some!?!?!

I will post this and new equipment on the Web site...probably tomorrow
     (concert tonight!!)
