Why I agreed to act in this movie: The free beer
My first taste of acting was at a very early age (6 or 7) when I played a
Shepard in the Christmas Nativity Play at my church. Mom made me do it.
My next big role was in for Odyssey of the Mind in the 6th grade. I played
a time traveler who lands in Vincent Van Gogh's home and tries to convince
him that he will be a famous artist someday. We won the regionals, but
lost at the state competition. It was rigged. All the judges were
housewives that knew nothing about art. Anyway, my next role in the
educational arena was in the 8th grade. It was a play for the Foreign
Language Festival and was in French...I'll leave it at that. We got out of
school for a day and got to hang out at the NC State campus. I gave up on
acting after that...I really only wanted to be a race car driver anyway.
